2005 Calendar

February 5-6 Driving School at Motor Sports Ranch.  A few Z owners will participate in the school and others will be there to support and party.  MSR is located just south of Cresson, TX on US 377 about half way between Fort Worth and Granbury.  Come join the fun.

March 19 - DFW Fixit Day 4.  March 26 in case of rain on March 19.

April 1-3 - Hill Country Drive - This drive hosted by the Houston Owners is second best only to the annual Homecoming Drive. Current plan for DFW folks is to leave from The Antique Mall in Benbrook at 12:30.  Please arrive at the Mall with a full tank and empty bladder.

April 23 - S2000 Ennis Blue Bonnet Trail Drive & Lunch - Cody Reeves has agreed to head up the Saturday, 23 April Bluebonnet Drive to Ennis, TX. His plan follows.
Details:
   Point of Departure: The parking lot of the Boston Market restaurant on the southeast corner of I20 at Carrier Parkway
   Time: Meet at 9:00 am and depart by 9:30 am at 9:00 am. We'll try to wind our way to Ennis via the back roads to meet the S2000 group at Bubba's BBQ at 11:30am. If anybody is running late and would like us to wait on them they can call Cody on his cell at: 817-319-2004. Leaving at 9:30am may get us there a little early, but I'd rather be a little early than a little late. Don't miss this drive. The Bluebonnet fields in Ennis are awesome.

June 3-4 - Third Annual Bavarian Drive to Mena, Arkansas.

August 13 - Saturday Lunch at the new Gaylord Texan. The spirit of the Southwest awaits you at Gaylord Texan where you'll be welcomed by larger-than-life Texas hospitality and charm. Under a magnificent glass atrium, you'll stroll amidst four-and-a-half acres of lush indoor gardens, winding pathways, and a flowing river as you unwind, explore, shop, and dine to your heart's content. 
We will meet in the parking lot of the Hobby Lobby at intersection of Hwy 121 & Glade Rd. in Grapevine at 10:30. From there we will drive to the
Gaylord Texan where we will lunch at the Texan Station which opens at 11am and serves salads, burgers and such.
After lunch and shopping we will have a short scenic drive
ending at Starbucks.

Parking at the Gaylord is $7 or $8 but you get a refund if you eat there and get your receipt validated.

October 7-9 - Cody Reeves, Rick Selman and Karen Zimmerman are planning a drive to Eureka Springs, AR.  Tentative plans are to meet somewhere along Interstate 75 in the McKinney area at 08:30 on Friday,

2006 Calendar

February ? - Meunster Tour - This drive was last held in 2003. It is a 166 mile drive starting in Grapevine heading to the west and north for lunch in Meunster. The return is to the east of I-35 ending at I-35 just north of Denton. Approx. 166 miles

April 28-29-30, 2006  Vegas Baby!!! - This is a "Z3 Only" 10 Year Celebration in Las Vegas @ the Palace Station Hotel/Casino. This event is being organized by Blaine Clark of Portland, OR. We DFW folks will be responsible for arranging our drives to & from Las Vegas. And don't forget "What happens in Las Vegas, Stays in Las Vegas" Further Details TBD.
