Kerby & Karens Plan for June 15-16 2007 Mt. Magazine Drive

DFW Departure Location

Friday: June 15, 2007 DEPARTURE: We will meet at the TA Travel Center in Rockwall at 10:00 AM. I would say 9:00 but trying to get through Dallas around 8:00 would just be a royal pain.

We will depart at 10:30 from TA Travel Center and stop to pick up Karen at the Chevron in Mt Vernon. M's can get fuel, but we can't linger too long.

Next stop is Idabell around 1:00 PM, for fuel and while standing in line for the bathroom grab a snack lunch.

We will pass through Mena around 2:00-2:30 and get to Mt Magazine Mountain about 5:00PM.

Saturday: May16, I have been informed by Dave & Dana that the Saturday Drive will leave Mt. Magazine at 9:00 AM. We will lunch at the Red Apple Inn in Heber Springs on Greers Ferry Lake. We have reservations for 35-40 people arriving between 12:30p.m. - 1:00p.m.

Karen has arranged for Saturday Dinner at 7:00 PM at Shirley'e Outback.

 

Things to do:

1. Bring your FSR Radios set to Channel 2 with sub channel at 3.

2. Each person should bring a raffle gift for their sex not to exceed $15.00.

3. Get familiar with the drive by checking out the link below.

4. This is very important: Buy a drink for Karen who arranged this drive, your drive leaders Kerby, Dave and Dana, and your web guy Tom.

5. Alcoholic beverages must be concealed if taken out side.
